LLUIS INDIGO

Lluis Indigo

He's a looper!

Fantastic melodic collage of looping arrangements. Lluis is from Barcelona, Spain in the region of "Catalonia". His description was that the music started off like the roots of a tree until it grew up into a great big tree. It is very much like that, but the essence of the tree remained the same. Expansive sound with improvisation. He spoke occasionally over the arrangements, sometimes it was understandable and other times not, but it lent to the vibe of the music as sultry, seductive and mysterious. I would describe it as mostly trance, hypnotic tracks although not ostinato because of the improvisation. Lluis improvised with guitar and some vocals with drum machine and keyboard looping. His voice was minimalist and was used as an instrument. The show was very fun and the music was greatly enjoyable, Earthy and surreal at the same time.

FROM LLUIS INDIGO'S PROFILE:

"Lluis Indigo is a self taught musician who has been playing with music since he was 7 years old. He has performing since he was 14 yrs old. In 2017 He turn his creative focus to his real passion, music. He plays "by ear" but he also studied music theory. He loves to sing flamenco style called "rumba" very typical there. But he also love to improvise and experiment with the looper. He loves to create relaxing and deep sounds that evolve like the nature, opening and expanding from the root.

Soul Purity weaves music with particles, creating a magical light show as she accompanies musical artists in Second Life."
