A MAN AND HIS GUITAR
In honor of Veterans on Veterans' Day 2018, this episode of Second Beat is dedicated to the brave men and women who stood up and answered the call of duty and placed their lives on the line, some paying the ultimate price, in service to the United States of America. Please remember to hug, kiss, salute and thank all the veterans you know and the ones that you encounter, it's the very least we can do to honor and thank them for their service. This episode features a very special interview with Vietnam War Veteran, U.S. Navy Seal / singer / songwriter / guitar- player Lonewolf Genesis.
LoneWolf 55 Genesis is the name of the Second Life avatar for Alan Mosse. Alan performs originals and covers in real life as well as "in-world", where he has been performing on a regular basis all over the grid for the past 9 years. He plays by ear, with minimal training from the age of 7 after having received his first guitar for Christmas. He first learned how to play Spanish guitar style of music from a school teacher who was also his neighbor in Texas. In addition to Spanish guitar style, he can also play classical, blues, rock, folk and contemporary. He is a virtual music library of songs and has been performing in real life for over 50 years. Formerly, he was a member of a band named Organized Confusion which was comprised with other members of his Navy Seal team. The band would often perform before large crowds in Las Vegas.
When Alan is not presenting music performances he enjoys spending time with his adopted son Deven, exploring the local Utah natural parks, skydiving as well as wood-working by creating cabinets, carvings & walking sticks.
